Register for a Jina.ai Account
- Go to the Jina.ai website.
- Click “Get Started” or “Sign Up” and create a free account (or log in with an existing account).
Access the Jina.ai Dashboard
- Once logged in, navigate to your user dashboard.
Find or Generate Your API Key
- Look for a section labeled “API Keys,” “Access Tokens,” or similar.
- If an API key is not already listed, click “Create API Key” or “Generate Token.”
- Follow the prompts to generate an API key.
- Copy the API key—keep it secure and do not share it publicly.
Add Your API Key to FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, find the “Install Now” button and click it.
- When prompted for environment variables, paste your copied API key into the
JINAAI_API_KEYfield.
Save and Test the Connection
- Confirm or save your configuration.
- Optionally, run a test search via the MCP server to ensure the integration is working.
Note: Your API key is sensitive information. Only share it with trusted systems/services.
