- Go to https://webscraping.ai and create an account, or log in if you already have one.
Access your API Key
- Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard.
- Look for the section labeled “API Key” or “API Access” in your user portal.
- Copy your API key. This will look similar to a long string of letters and numbers.
Open the FastMCP connection interface
- In your project or platform, find the “Install Now” button for adding ENVs and click it.
- This will open the interface for configuring environment variables for your MCP server.
Fill in the required ENV values
- Set the following required environment variable:
WEBSCRAPING_AI_API_KEY– Paste the API key you copied from your WebScraping.AI dashboard.
- (Optional) Adjust any of the following, or leave as defaults for standard use:

Save and apply the configuration
- Confirm or save your environment variable settings in the FastMCP connection interface.
