Asana

1. Create an Asana Account

   • Visit https://www.asana.com.
   • Click "Sign up" and follow the instructions to create your account if you don't already have one.

2. Log in to the Asana Developer Console

   • Go to https://app.asana.com/0/my-apps.
   • Sign in with your Asana account credentials.

3. Generate a Personal Access Token

   • In the developer console, find the “Personal Access Tokens” section.
   • Click “Create new token” or similar.
   • Enter a name for your token (e.g., "MCP Integration").
   • Click “Create token”.
   • Important: Your new token will be displayed only once. Copy it immediately.

4. Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface

   • In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the “Install Now” button for Asana or start a new connection.
   • When prompted for environment variables, enter your copied Asana token in the ASANA_ACCESS_TOKEN field.
   • (Optional) If you want read-only mode, you can also set READ_ONLY_MODE to true.

5. Complete the Installation

   • Confirm your entries and finish the installation process as directed in the FastMCP interface.

You are now ready to use Asana with your MCP server connection!
