Sign Up or Log In to Perplexity
Go to the Perplexity website. Create an account or log in if you already have one.Access API Settings (or Developer Portal)

In the API or integrations section, find the option to generate or view your API key. If you do not already have one, click a button such as "Create API Key" or "Generate Token."Copy the API Key
Copy the API key that is displayed. This key will be used to authenticate requests to Perplexity's API.Enter the API Key in the FastMCP Connection Interface
In the FastMCP connection interface (accessed via the "Install Now" button), find the field forPERPLEXITY_API_KEYand paste your copied API key into this field.Save/Complete the Setup
