Log in to Linear
Go to the Linear web interface at https://linear.app and log in with your account.Navigate to API Settings
Visit your API settings page directly at https://linear.app/settings/api.Generate an API Key
On the API settings page, look for the section to create a new API Key.- Click the “Create API Key” or similar button.
- Name your key and optionally set permissions.
- Copy the generated API key—this will not be shown again!
Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface
In the FastMCP connection interface, use the “Install Now” button for this integration.- When prompted for the
LINEAR_API_TOKEN, paste the API key you copied in the previous step.
