Enables interaction with AITable workspaces through comprehensive API access, supporting record and field management, datasheet creation, file uploads, and workspace search across 16 tools with both local and remote deployment options.
  1. Click the "Install Now" button to open the FastMCP connection / environment variable entry interface.
  2. In the FastMCP interface, add two environment variables:
    • AITABLE_API_TOKEN — paste your AITable API access token.
    • SPACE_ID — paste your AITable space ID.
  3. How to obtain AITABLE_API_TOKEN:
    1. Sign in to AITable (your workspace at aitable.ai) and open your profile / User Center.
    2. Go to Developer Configuration and click the "+" (Generate) button to create an API token — you may need to bind your email the first time.
    3. Copy the generated token and paste it into the AITABLE_API_TOKEN field in FastMCP.
(See AITable developer quick start / API docs for the token-generation steps.) (developers.aitable.ai)
  4. How to obtain SPACE_ID:
    1. Open the AITable workspace (the space) in your browser.
    2. Find the space identifier in the workspace URL (it typically starts with "spc…"); copy that full ID (e.g., spcX9P2xUcKst) and paste it into the SPACE_ID field in FastMCP.
(AITable tools/docs show the space ID appears in the workspace/widget URLs and CLI initialization outputs.) (developers.aitable.ai)
  5. After pasting AITABLE_API_TOKEN and SPACE_ID into the FastMCP fields, click Save / Connect (or the equivalent button in the FastMCP UI) to store the ENV values.
  6. Test the connection from FastMCP (or start the MCP client) to confirm the server can authenticate with AITable using the token and space ID.
  7. Security reminders (short): store the token securely (do not commit to git), rotate it if leaked, and limit exposure of your FastMCP connection details. (developers.aitable.ai)
