Sign in to your 302.AI dashboard
- If you don’t have an account, create one and complete any required email verification or account setup.
Open the API Keys page
- From the dashboard go to Use API → API Keys to manage/generate keys. (help.302.ai)
Create a new API key
- Click Add / Create API Key (or Use API → API Keys → Add).
- Give the key a name.
- Set expiration if desired (default is Eternal). You can also configure total/daily quota or leave “Unlimited Quota” on. (help.302.ai)
Generate and copy the API key
- After creation, click the API key icon to view and copy the full secret. Copy it now — you will only see it here once. (help.302.ai)
Open the FastMCP connection interface (the place where you add ENVs)
- Locate the ENV input for this MCP server. The required variable name is exactly: 302AI_API_KEY
Paste the API key into the FastMCP ENV field
- In the FastMCP connection UI, set the key/value pair:
- Key: 302AI_API_KEY
- Value: (paste the API key you copied)
- Save the ENV entry.
- In the FastMCP connection UI, set the key/value pair:
Click the “Install Now” button
- Use your existing “Install Now” button to apply the configuration/enable the MCP server.
Verify the connection
- Run a quick test call or tool action from your MCP client to confirm the server authenticates and works.
- If it fails, confirm the key was pasted correctly, that the key is enabled (not deleted/disabled), and that your 302.AI account has sufficient quota or billing set up. (help.302.ai)
