Integrates with Netskope API to manage private access infrastructure, enabling automated publisher lifecycle, app configuration, policy creation, and traffic diagnostics.
  1. Log in to your Netskope Admin Console

    • Open the web interface for your Netskope environment. You must have administrator privileges.
  2. Locate your Tenant’s Base URL

    • Identify your base Netskope tenant URL.
    • It typically looks like: https://your-tenant.goskope.com
    • If unsure, you can find it in your browser’s address bar after logging in to the admin console, before any additional path (e.g., /dashboard).
  3. Generate an API Key

    • Go to the “Settings” or “Administration” section in the Netskope admin portal.
    • Look for an area labeled “API” or “API Key Management”.
    • If you do not see this section, check under “Users & Roles” or search for “API” in the admin console’s help/search.
    • Click “Create API Key” or “Add API Key”.
    • Give the key a name/description for future identification.
    • Save/copy the generated API key. It may look like: 030f31f7d57fd94834af57a3edc4bbda
  4. Set Required ENVs in the FastMCP Connection Interface

    • Find the “Install Now” or similar button in your FastMCP workspace.
    • When prompted or in the form, fill in the following environment variables:
      • NETSKOPE_BASE_URL: Paste your complete tenant URL (e.g. https://your-tenant.goskope.com)
      • NETSKOPE_API_KEY: Paste the API token you generated from the admin console
  5. Save/Confirm

    • Complete the installation/setup wizard to finish connecting your server with your Netskope environment.

Notes:

  • Keep your API key secure and never share it publicly or commit it to version control.
  • If you lose the key, you will need to generate a new one in the admin console.
