Authenticator App

1. Launch the Authenticator App · 2FA (Desktop Version)

   • If you do not have it installed, download it for your platform:
     • Microsoft Store (Windows)
     • Mac App Store (macOS)
     • Ubuntu/Debian (.deb)

2. Open Settings

   • In the Authenticator App, open the Settings menu.

3. Locate MCP Server Section

   • Scroll to find the section labeled MCP Server.

4. Enable MCP Server

   • Toggle the MCP Server switch to ON.

5. Generate Your Access Token

   • Follow the prompts to generate an access token. The token will be shown only once.

6. Copy the Access Token

   • Copy the token immediately and keep it secure; you will need this for the FastMCP connection.

7. Fill in the Token in FastMCP

   • In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the environment variable or field for AUTHENTICATOR_ACCESS_TOKEN.
   • Paste your copied access token into this field.

8. Finish Setup

   • Click the "Install Now" button or proceed as instructed by FastMCP to complete the connection.

Note: The access token will not be visible again. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new one via the same steps above.
