Launch the Authenticator App · 2FA (Desktop Version)
- If you do not have it installed, download it for your platform:
Open Settings
- In the Authenticator App, open the
Settingsmenu.
- In the Authenticator App, open the
Locate MCP Server Section
- Scroll to find the section labeled
MCP Server.
- Scroll to find the section labeled
Enable MCP Server
- Toggle the MCP Server switch to
ON.
- Toggle the MCP Server switch to
Generate Your Access Token
- Follow the prompts to generate an access token. The token will be shown only once.
Copy the Access Token
- Copy the token immediately and keep it secure; you will need this for the FastMCP connection.
Fill in the Token in FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the environment variable or field for
AUTHENTICATOR_ACCESS_TOKEN. - Paste your copied access token into this field.
- In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the environment variable or field for
Finish Setup
- Click the "Install Now" button or proceed as instructed by FastMCP to complete the connection.
Note: The access token will not be visible again. If you lose it, you will need to generate a new one via the same steps above.
