Create an OpenWeatherMap Account
- Go to https://home.openweathermap.org/users/sign_up and register for a free account.
Verify Your Email
- Check your email inbox and follow the verification link sent by OpenWeatherMap to activate your account.
Log In to OpenWeatherMap
- Visit https://home.openweathermap.org/users/sign_in and log in with your credentials.
Obtain Your API Key
- Once logged in, go to your API keys page at https://home.openweathermap.org/api_keys.
- If there is no API key generated, click "Create Key" or a similar button.
- Copy your API key.
Add the API Key to FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, find the field for
OPENWEATHER_API_KEY. - Fill in the field with the API key you copied in the previous step.
- Click your ready-made "Install Now" button to finish the setup.
