Visit the CoinStats API website
Go to the CoinStats API Documentation page.

Register or Log In
If you don't have an account, sign up for a CoinStats account. If you already have an account, log in.

Generate an API Key
After logging in, navigate to the section for API keys or "Developers/API Access" in your CoinStats dashboard.

Create a New API Key
Click the button to generate a new API key. You may be asked to name the key and select permissions or access scopes.

Copy the API Key
Once the API key is generated, copy it. Keep it safe as you will need to paste it in the next step.

Add the API Key in FastMCP
In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the "Install Now" button for the CoinStats MCP server. Click it, and when prompted, paste your API key into the field labeled COINSTATS_API_KEY.

Save and Complete Setup
Confirm and save your configuration. Your server will now use the CoinStats API key to access data.
