Sign Up for a Tavily Account
- Go to the Tavily website.
- Click “Sign up” and create an account using your email address or another available method.
Access the Tavily Dashboard
- Log in to your Tavily account.
- Navigate to your profile or dashboard area.
Locate API Management
- In your dashboard, look for a section labeled “API Keys” or similar (this may be under “Account,” “Settings,” or “Developers”).
- Click to enter the API key management page.
Generate an API Key
- If you do not see an API key listed, click the button or link to “Create,” “Generate,” or “New API Key.”
- Follow any prompts to name or describe the key if needed.
- Copy the generated API key shown on the screen. Make sure to copy it now, as it may not be displayed again.
Add Your API Key Via the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Open the FastMCP interface and click your ready-made "Install Now" button for Search Stock News MCP.
- When prompted in the connection interface, fill in your Tavily API Key in the
TAVILY_API_KEYfield.
Finish the Setup
- Complete the setup process as guided by the FastMCP or your MCP-compatible client.
You are now ready to use real-time stock news with your Tavily API key!
