Log in to Figma
- Go to figma.com and sign in to your account.
Obtain Your Figma API Key
- Click your name in the top left corner of the Figma interface.
- Navigate to "Settings".
- Scroll to the "Security" section.
- Click "Create a new personal access token" or "Generate new token".
- Grant the token the

andComments
scopes if prompted.
Copy the API Key
- Copy the token that is generated—you will need this for the next step.
Add the API Key to the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Go to the FastMCP connection interface.
- Use the "Install Now" button for the Figma MCP server integration.
- When prompted for environment variables, enter your Figma API Key as
FIGMA_API_KEY
.
Complete Installation
- Finish and save the configuration in the FastMCP interface.
- Your Figma MCP server will now be able to access and interact with your Figma files using the API key you provided.
