Tools I Recommend
Enables multi-agent collaboration across different AI assistants and projects by providing a universal coordination layer for MCP-compatible agents to communicate, share context, and coordinate complex tasks seamlessly.
  1. Click the "Install Now" button to open the FastMCP connection interface.
  2. In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the environment variables / ENVs section and add the following entry:
    • Key: AGENT_HUB_DATA_DIR
      Value: (optional) /path/to/your/data
Notes: leave empty to use the default (~/.agent-hub). Use an absolute path if you want a custom data directory.
  3. No API keys or tokens are required by Agent Hub MCP—there are no other required ENV values to obtain or paste into the interface.
  4. Save the FastMCP connection settings (confirm the Install/Save action in the interface).
  5. Restart your AI assistant completely so the MCP server picks up the new environment settings.
  6. Verify the installation by registering the agent and checking status:
    • In your assistant, run: /hub:register
    • Then run: /hub:status or /hub:sync
Expected: confirmation that the agent is registered (e.g., "✅ Registered with Agent Hub as [your-project-name]") and hub status output.
