Obtain Your DefectDojo API Token
- Log in to your DefectDojo web interface with an administrator or authorized user account.
- Navigate to your user profile or look for a section such as "API v2 Key" or "API Token" in the settings/menu.
- Generate a new API token if you do not already have one. Copy and save this token; you need it for the next step.
Find the Base URL of Your DefectDojo Instance
- Use the URL you access in your browser to reach DefectDojo (e.g.,
https://your-defectdojo-instance.com). - This is your API base URL.

Go to the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Click the "Install Now" button for the DefectDojo MCP server integration.
Enter the Required ENV Values
- In the configuration interface, fill in the following environment variables:
DEFECTDOJO_API_TOKEN: Paste the API token you obtained in step 1.DEFECTDOJO_API_BASE: Enter the base URL from step 2.

Save the Configuration
- Click the appropriate button to save or apply your settings and finalize the connection.
Your DefectDojo MCP server connection should now be configured and ready to use.
