Log in to your Freedcamp account
- Go to https://freedcamp.com/ and sign in with your credentials.
Navigate to Freedcamp API Settings
- Open the Freedcamp API documentation: https://freedcamp.com/api-docs
- Follow instructions to access your API Key and API Secret. Typically, you can generate or view these in your Freedcamp user profile or a dedicated API section.
Obtain your API Key and Secret
- In the API or integrations section of your Freedcamp account, locate and copy your API Key and API Secret.
Find your Freedcamp Project ID
- Go to the specific project you want to connect.
- Check the project URL or use the Freedcamp API's projects endpoint to list your projects and get the numeric Project ID.
- Alternatively, in the browser, while inside a project workspace, the Project ID may appear in the URL as a numeric value after
/projects/.

Add ENV variables in FastMCP
- Open your FastMCP connection interface for Freedcamp.
- Use the “Install Now” button to add new environment variables.
- Enter the following values:
FREEDCAMP_API_KEY— Your Freedcamp API KeyFREEDCAMP_API_SECRET— Your Freedcamp API SecretFREEDCAMP_PROJECT_ID— The Project ID for your Freedcamp project
Save and enable the connection
- Make sure all values are correct and save changes in the FastMCP interface.
- The integration should now be ready to use.
Tip: If you cannot find your API Key or Secret, check the Freedcamp account settings, API section, or refer to the API documentation. If you have issues retrieving your Project ID, use the API to list your projects.
