Go to Tavily's website
- Visit https://tavily.com.
Sign up or log in
- If you do not already have an account, sign up for a new Tavily account.
- If you already have an account, log in with your credentials.
Access your account dashboard
- Once logged in, navigate to your account dashboard or API section. Look for a section labeled “API Key,” “API,” or similar.
Generate or copy your Tavily API Key
- Follow the instructions to generate a new API key if you don’t already have one.
- If you have one, simply copy your Tavily API key.
Add the Tavily API Key in FastMCP connection interface
- Click the "Install Now" button for the Tavily MCP server in FastMCP.
- In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the field labeled "TAVILY_API_KEY" or "Tavily API Key".
- Paste your copied API key into this field.
Save or confirm the connection
- Complete the installation process by saving or confirming the FastMCP connection.
Your Tavily MCP server is now set up and ready to use web search and other AI-powered features!
