Provides web search capabilities through OpenRouter's Perplexity Sonar models, delivering intelligent search results with source citations for current information retrieval.
  1. Create an OpenRouter Account

    • Go to OpenRouter.
    • Click "Sign Up" or "Log In" to access your OpenRouter dashboard.
  2. Generate an OpenRouter API Key

    • In your OpenRouter dashboard, find the section labeled "API Keys" or "Developer" in the menu.
    • Click "Create API Key" or "Generate New Key".
    • Follow the prompts to complete creation. You may specify key name and permissions.
    • After generating, copy your API key. The format will look similar to: your-api-key-here.
  3. Add the API Key in the FastMCP Connection Interface

    • In the FastMCP interface, click the "Install Now" button for Nexus MCP Server.
    • When prompted for environment values, fill in:
      • OPENROUTER_API_KEY: Paste the API key you copied from OpenRouter.
    • Save or confirm the settings.

Note: Your API key is sensitive. Do not share it. If necessary, you can manage or revoke keys in the OpenRouter dashboard.
