Obtain an Ethereum RPC Provider URL
- You can use a public Ethereum RPC provider or a private one.
- Default public providers (no setup required, but you may use your provider for reliability/performance):
- To use a custom provider (e.g., Infura, Alchemy, QuickNode), sign up on their website and copy your HTTPS RPC endpoint URL(s).
Format the PROVIDER_URL Value
- If you use one provider: Paste its URL.
- For redundancy, list multiple URLs separated by commas (no spaces), e.g.:
https://mainnet.infura.io/v3/YOUR_KEY,https://eth.llamarpc.com
Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Click the “Install Now” button for ENS MCP Server in your FastMCP dashboard.
- In the configuration interface, locate the field for
PROVIDER_URL. - Paste the provider URL(s) you obtained in Step 2 into the
PROVIDER_URLfield.
Complete Setup
- Save or apply the changes in the FastMCP connection interface.
- The ENS MCP Server will now use your specified Ethereum RPC providers for all interactions.
If you do not provide a value, default public endpoints will be used automatically. Custom providers are optional but recommended for reliability and rate limits.
