Open the FastMCP connection interface

Prepare the three required environment variables

- OKTOPOST_ACCOUNT_ID
- OKTOPOST_API_KEY

Find your Account Region
- Sign in to your Oktopost account.
- Check your account domain or account settings — common regions are shown as part of your account metadata (for example "us" vs "eu"); if you are unsure, open Account or Organization settings and look for Region or Data Center.
- If you cannot find it, contact Oktopost Support (help@oktopost.com) or check your onboarding emails. (glama.ai)
Find your Account ID
- Sign in to Oktopost as an administrator (or ask an admin).
- Open Settings → Account / Organization (or Profile → Account details). Look for "Account ID" or "Organization ID".
- If Account ID is not visible in the UI, it is often available in admin pages or in the URL of your Oktopost admin console — ask your Oktopost admin or contact support if you cannot locate it. (glama.ai)
Generate / retrieve your API Key (API token)
- Sign in to Oktopost with an admin user.
- Go to Settings → Integrations / API / Account Settings (the README notes the API token is generated in your account settings).
- Create a new API token (give it a descriptive name and the minimum required scopes/permissions).
- Copy the token immediately — tokens are usually shown only once. Store it in a secure password manager. If you lose it, revoke and re-create a token. (glama.ai)
Enter the values into the FastMCP interface
- In the FastMCP connection dialog (opened from "Install Now"), paste:

Security reminders
- Keep the API token secret and rotate/revoke it if it is ever exposed.
- Store tokens in a secure secret manager or password manager rather than plain text. (glama.ai)
