Sign Up for a Serper Account
- Visit Serper's website.
- Click on the "Create a free account" button.
- Enter your email and password to complete the registration. No credit card is required.
Obtain Your API Key
- After logging in, navigate to the "API Keys" or "API Access" section in your account dashboard.
- Click on "Generate API Key" to create a new key.
- Copy the generated API key and store it securely. This key will be used to authenticate your requests.
Configure the Serper MCP Server in FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the "Install Now" button for adding ENVs.
- Click on "Install Now" to add a new environment variable.
- Set the environment variable name to
SERPER_API_KEY. - Paste the API key you obtained from Serper into the value field.
- Save the configuration to apply the changes.
