Obtain your OpenAI API Key
- Go to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys and log in with your OpenAI account.
- Click "Create new secret key" if you do not already have an API key.
- Copy the generated API key. You will use this value in the next steps.
Add the OpenAI API Key in the FastMCP connection interface
- Click "Install Now" for the browser-use-mcp-server.
- In the connection setup interface, look for the field labeled
OPENAI_API_KEY. - Paste your OpenAI API key into this field.
(Optional) Specify a custom Chrome path
- If you want to use a specific Chrome browser binary, provide the full path in the
CHROME_PATHfield. - If you do not need to specify this, you may leave it blank.
