  1. Determine the AI Provider You Want to Use
Decide which AI provider(s) you plan to use with Browser-Use. The supported options include OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Grok, and Novita.

  2. Obtain the Corresponding API Key(s)

    • OpenAI: Log in to your OpenAI account, go to the API section, and create or copy your API key.
    • Anthropic: Log in to your Anthropic account and navigate to the “API keys” section to generate or copy your API key.
    • Azure OpenAI: Go to your Azure portal, find the Azure OpenAI resource, and obtain both the AZURE_OPENAI_ENDPOINT and AZURE_OPENAI_KEY.
    • Google: Retrieve your API key from the Google Cloud API console (typically under “APIs & Services” → “Credentials”).
    • DeepSeek: Obtain your key from the DeepSeek developer/API dashboard.
    • Grok: Retrieve your API key from the Grok API platform.
    • Novita: Get your API key from the Novita API console.
  3. Go to the FastMCP Connection Interface
Open the interface where you can configure environment variables for your MCP connection. Click on the “Install Now” button to start the ENV addition process.

  4. Fill In the Relevant ENV Values

    • For each provider you want to use, enter the corresponding key in the correct field:
      • OPENAI_API_KEY
      • ANTHROPIC_API_KEY
      • AZURE_OPENAI_ENDPOINT
      • AZURE_OPENAI_KEY
      • GOOGLE_API_KEY
      • DEEPSEEK_API_KEY
      • GROK_API_KEY
      • NOVITA_API_KEY
    • Only enter keys for those providers you intend to use.
  5. Save Your Configuration
After filling in all needed values, save your changes in the FastMCP connection interface.

  6. (Optional) Consult Documentation for Advanced Settings
For custom models, further settings, and additional configuration, refer to the official Browser-Use documentation.

You are now ready to use Browser-Use with your selected AI provider(s) via MCP!
