Log in to your Databutton App
- Open your Databutton app in your web browser.
- Sign in with your credentials.
Navigate to the App Settings Page
- In the Databutton app interface, locate and open the “Settings” page.
Download Your API Key
- On the Settings page, find the section labeled “API Key.”
- Click the option to download or copy the API key for your app.
Keep Your API Key Secure
- Save the API key in a safe location, such as a text file on your computer.
- Do not share your API key with others.
Add the API Key to FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, click the “Install Now” button for the Databutton App MCP server.
- Fill in the value of your downloaded API key in the field labeled
DATABUTTON_API_KEY.- You may either enter the API key directly or provide the path to the text file containing the API key.
- Save/apply the configuration.
Your Databutton App MCP integration is now ready to use.
