Log in to your Sidemail Account
- Go to https://sidemail.io/ and log in with your account credentials.
Navigate to API Keys
- In your Sidemail dashboard, look for a section called “API” or “API Keys.” This is usually found in the sidebar or under account settings.
Create or Copy an API Key
- If you do not have an API key yet, click the button to create a new API key.
- If you already have an API key, copy it. The key will be a string of characters starting with
live_ortest_.
Fill in the Value in the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Return to the FastMCP connection interface.
- When prompted to add environment variables, use your Sidemail API Key for the value of
SIDEMAIL_API_KEY. - Use the “Install Now” button if available, and paste the API key into the appropriate input field.
Save or Confirm
- Make sure to save or confirm the entry so the FastMCP server can use your Sidemail API Key for authentication.
You are now ready! Your Sidemail MCP integration should work with the API key you provided.
