1. Obtain your Advocu GDE API Access Token

   • Visit the Advocu GDE portal or your GDE program dashboard where API access is managed.
   • Log in with your official GDE credentials.
   • Find the section labeled "API Access" or "Personal API Token."
   • Generate a new API access token if one does not already exist, or copy your existing token.
   • Ensure the token is for your GDE user and has permission for the Personal API.

2. Open the FastMCP connection interface

   • Navigate to the integration or connection setup page in your FastMCP environment.
   • Find the “Install Now” button and initiate the process for the Activity Reporting connection.

3. Fill in the ENV Values in FastMCP

   • Locate the field labeled ADVOCU_ACCESS_TOKEN in the FastMCP connection interface.
   • Paste your Advocu GDE API Access Token into the ADVOCU_ACCESS_TOKEN field.

4. Complete the setup

   • Confirm and save your connection settings in FastMCP.

5. Test the connection

   • After saving, submit a test activity (such as a draft report) to verify your connection works.

Note: The API token is sensitive and should be kept secure. If your token is ever leaked or you suspect unauthorized use, revoke it immediately in the Advocu dashboard and generate a new one.
