Log in to your Moneybird account
- Go to https://moneybird.com/login and sign in.
Generate an API Token
- Visit https://moneybird.com/user/applications (You can also find this link by navigating to your profile menu and selecting “API tokens” or “Applications”).
- Click “Add an API token”.
- Enter a label/name for your token (e.g., "MCP Integration").
- Click “Create token”.
Copy your Moneybird API Token
- The token will be shown only once! Copy the token to your clipboard.
Find your Administration ID
- While logged into Moneybird, select the correct administration (if you have multiple).
- Look at the URL in your browser bar. It will look like
https://moneybird.com/123456789/. The number is your Administration ID.
Go to the FastMCP connection interface
- Click the "Install Now" button to begin configuration.
- In the FastMCP interface for Moneybird, fill in:
MONEYBIRD_API_TOKENwith the token you copiedMONEYBIRD_ADMINISTRATION_IDwith the number from the URL
Finish and save
- Complete the setup in FastMCP as directed. Your integration will now be ready to use!
