Integrates with Keycloak Admin to provide streamlined user and realm management operations for identity and access control automation.
  1. Set Up a Running Keycloak Instance
Ensure you have access to a running Keycloak server. This could be a local instance (http://localhost:8080) or a remote Keycloak deployment.

  2. Gather Keycloak Connection Details
You need the following Keycloak credentials:

    • KEYCLOAK_URL: The base URL of your Keycloak instance (e.g., http://localhost:8080).
    • KEYCLOAK_ADMIN: The username of your Keycloak admin account (often admin by default).
    • KEYCLOAK_ADMIN_PASSWORD: The password for your Keycloak admin account.

Tip: If you installed Keycloak yourself, these values were likely set during the initial Keycloak setup. If you’re using a shared or managed Keycloak service, request credentials from your administrator.

  3. Input Values in FastMCP
Go to the FastMCP connection interface and click the Install Now button for the Keycloak MCP Server. When prompted, fill in the three environment variables with your credentials:

    • KEYCLOAK_URL
    • KEYCLOAK_ADMIN
    • KEYCLOAK_ADMIN_PASSWORD
  4. Finish Setup
Save or confirm the configuration in the FastMCP interface.

Your Keycloak MCP server is now ready to connect and manage your Keycloak instance.
