1. Create a TomTom Developer Account
   Visit the TomTom Developer Portal and register for a free developer account if you do not already have one.

2. Access the API Keys Section
   After logging in, go to the API & SDK Keys section, which is available in the left-hand menu of the TomTom Developer Dashboard.

3. Create a New API Key

   • Click the Create Key button (it is red).
   • Assign a name to your key for identification.
   • Select all available APIs to ensure full access for integration with FastMCP.
   • Click Create to generate your new API key.

4. Copy the API Key
   Once created, the API key will be displayed. Copy this key—you will need it in the next step.

5. Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface

   • Return to your FastMCP connection setup.
   • Use the "Install Now" button to add environment variables.
   • Paste your API key into the TOMTOM_API_KEY field in the interface.

6. Save and Confirm
   Save the changes and confirm that the MCP server is able to connect using the provided key.

Your TomTom integration is now complete!
