Integrates with Artemis API to create and manage cryptocurrency data analysis formulas for accessing price data, fees, revenue, and other time-series metrics without switching contexts.
  1. Click the "Install Now" button to open the FastMCP connection interface — this is where you will enter the required environment values (ENV variables).

  2. In the FastMCP connection form, add or locate the field labeled ARTEMIS_API_KEY and paste your Artemis API key there (exact ENV name used by the Artemis Python SDK is ARTEMIS_API_KEY). (pypi.org)

  3. How to obtain your Artemis API key:

    1. Log in to your Artemis Dashboard and open Settings → API Keys (the API key is shown on that page). (app.artemisanalytics.com)
    2. If you do not see an API key in the Dashboard, contact Artemis sales/support to upgrade or request API access (the docs list an email contact for Enterprise/API access inquiries). (app.artemisanalytics.com)
  4. In the FastMCP connection form, add the Artemis Snowflake credentials where prompted (the README refers to an "Artemis Snowflake Login"). Provide the Snowflake account identifier and the Snowflake user credentials (username and password) — and, if required by the form, the default role, warehouse, database and schema. These are the pieces external tools typically need to connect to Snowflake. (hex.tech)

  5. How to obtain the Snowflake values Artemis needs:

    1. In Snowsight (Snowflake UI) click View account details to locate your Data Sharing / Account Identifier (the account locator found in your Snowflake URL or in the account details). Copy that account identifier (everything between https:// and .snowflakecomputing.com). (hex.tech)
    2. Gather the Snowflake username and password for the user that will be used for the Artemis integration; also ask your Snowflake admin for the correct default role, warehouse, database, and schema if those are needed. (hex.tech)
    3. If you need Artemis to share Snowflake-hosted datasets with your account, follow Artemis’s Snowflake Share instructions: provide your Snowflake account identity to Artemis so they can share the private data; note that accepting a share often requires an ACCOUNTADMIN or coordination with your Snowflake admin. (app.artemisanalytics.com)
  6. After pasting ARTEMIS_API_KEY and the Snowflake login details into the FastMCP connection interface, click Save / Connect in FastMCP.

  7. Verify the connection from the FastMCP UI by running the Artemis validation tool (for example the MCP tool named validate-artemis-api-key from the README) or any built-in test action in the FastMCP connection dialog to confirm the API key and Snowflake login are accepted. (app.artemisanalytics.com)

  8. If validation fails:

    1. Re-check the ARTEMIS_API_KEY value (copy it again from Artemis Dashboard). (app.artemisanalytics.com)
    2. Re-check the Snowflake account identifier and credentials; confirm the user has the necessary permissions (or ask your Snowflake admin to help). (hex.tech)
  9. Once validation succeeds, the environment values are saved in FastMCP and Artemis MCP tools will be able to use them from the FastMCP connection interface.
