Log in to your OKX account:
Open API Management:
- Navigate to https://www.okx.com/account/my-api.
Create a new API Key:
- Click "Create API Key".
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "MCP Server").
- Set and save a secure passphrase (this will be needed later).
Set Read-Only Permissions:
- Enable Read access.
- Disable Trade and Withdraw permissions.
Generate and copy your credentials:
- Click "Submit All" to create the API key.
- Click "Show info" to reveal your credentials.
- Click "Copy API key info" to copy all details.
- Your credentials will include:
- API Key
- Secret Key
- Passphrase
⚠️ Important: The Secret Key is only shown once. Save it securely!
Fill in values in the FastMCP connection interface:
- Locate the "Install Now" button for adding ENVs.
- Add the following environment variables in the FastMCP interface:
OKX_API_KEY— paste your API Key.OKX_API_SECRET— paste your Secret Key.OKX_API_PASSPHRASE— paste your Passphrase.
- Save your entries.
You have now configured the required OKX API credentials for your MCP server using the FastMCP interface.
