Integrates with Linode's cloud infrastructure API to manage compute instances, volumes, networking, domains, databases, Kubernetes clusters, and support operations across 19 tool categories with over 100 individual operations.
  1. Log in to your Linode Cloud Manager account

  2. Navigate to your Profile

    • Click your avatar (top right corner) and select “My Profile” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Access the API Tokens section

    • In your Profile menu, click on “API Tokens”.
  4. Create a new Personal Access Token

    • Click the “Create Personal Access Token” button.
    • Enter a label (name) for your token.
    • Select the permissions (scopes) you want the Linode MCP Server to have. For full access, select “Read/Write” for everything.
  5. Save and copy the token

    • Click “Create Token”.
    • Copy your new token. It will only be shown once!
  6. Fill in the token in the FastMCP connection interface

    • Click the "Install Now" button for the Linode MCP server.
    • When prompted for the environment variable, enter your token as the value for LINODE_API_TOKEN.

Summary:
You need to generate a Linode Personal Access Token in your Linode Cloud Manager profile. After creating it, fill its value in the FastMCP connection interface when adding the MCP server.
