Log in to the Microsoft Copilot Studio Admin Portal
Go to Microsoft Copilot Studio and log in with your Microsoft account.Open Your Copilot Studio Agent
From the dashboard, select the Copilot Studio Agent you want to connect.Go to Settings
In the left navigation, select "Settings" for your Agent.Enable Direct Line Channel
Find and click on the “Channels” section.
Locate the “Direct Line” channel and click to add/enable it.Generate the Direct Line Secret Key
After enabling, a Direct Line configuration will appear.
Locate the “Secret keys” section (often shown under “Direct Line Secrets” or similar).
Click “Show” (eye icon) next to the key to reveal it. Copy this key.
If you have not generated one yet, follow the prompt to generate a new secret key.Add the Direct Line Secret Key in FastMCP
Click the “Install Now” button or set up your connection.
In the FastMCP connection interface, when prompted, paste the Direct Line secret key you copied into the field forDIRECT_LINE_SECRET.Finish Setup
Proceed with the installation or save your configuration as required.
Your Copilot Studio Agent is now connected!
Note: Never share your Direct Line secret. Treat it as a sensitive credential.
