Integrates with the 4get meta search engine to provide privacy-focused web, image, and news searches through a search aggregator that maintains user privacy while accessing results from multiple sources with built-in rate limiting resilience and caching optimization.
  1. If you are using the public 4get instance:

    • No API key or token is required. All default values will work automatically with the public https://4get.ca service.
  2. If connecting to a private or rate-limited instance requiring a "pass token":

    • Ask your 4get instance administrator if a FOURGET_PASS token is required.
    • If so, request this token from the administrator or 4get server owner.
  3. Open the FastMCP connection interface.

    • Select the 4get MCP server integration.
  4. Add environment variables in the FastMCP interface by clicking the "Install Now" button:

    • Set FOURGET_BASE_URL if you are connecting to a custom 4get server (otherwise leave as the default https://4get.ca).
    • Paste your FOURGET_PASS if one was provided for your rate-limited (private) instance.
    • (Optional) Adjust other environment variables (such as timeouts, cache settings, etc.) as desired for your use case.
  5. Confirm and save your configuration.

    • The server should now connect using the values you entered.

Note:

  • Most users with the public https://4get.ca instance do NOT need a key or token.
  • Advanced/custom/private deployments may require a pass token from your 4get server administrator, which you will then fill as FOURGET_PASS in the FastMCP interface.
