Integrates with GoHighLevel CRM to manage contacts, conversations, blog posts, calendars, workflows, and media through comprehensive API access for marketing automation and client communication workflows.
  1. Log in to your GoHighLevel account

    • Open your GoHighLevel portal and log in with your account credentials.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Private Integrations

    • On the left sidebar, click “Settings.”
    • Find the “Integrations” section.
    • Click on “Private Integrations.”
  3. Create a New Private Integration

    • Click the button to create a new private integration.
    • Set the name to something like “MCP Server Integration” (or any name you prefer).
    • Leave the “Webhook URL” field blank (not required for this integration).
  4. Select Required Scopes

    • In the scopes/permissions list, select the permissions for the tools you wish to use (e.g., contacts, conversations, opportunities, calendars, workflows, etc.).
    • You may check all recommended scopes as listed in the documentation if you want full tool access.
    • You can always edit and add more scopes later if you need additional features.
  5. Save the Integration and Copy the Private API Key

    • Click “Save” or “Create.”
    • The system will generate a “Private API Key.”
    • Copy this key and keep it safe—you’ll need to use it in your environment settings.
  6. Copy Your Location ID

    • Go to “Settings” → “Company” → “Locations.”
    • Copy your relevant “Location ID” (needed for API calls specific to your GoHighLevel sub-account).
  7. Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface

    • In the FastMCP interface (using the “Install Now” button or relevant setup screen), paste your keys into the fields as follows:
    • These values are required for a successful connection. Double-check to ensure there are no extra spaces or typing errors.
  8. Finish Setup

    • Submit/save in the FastMCP connection interface.
    • If everything is correct, your GoHighLevel tools will be enabled and ready for use!

Tip: If you want to add or remove access to certain features later, simply edit your Private Integration scopes in GoHighLevel and update the FastMCP settings if you rotate the API key.
