Obtain a Google Gemini API Key
- Go to the Google AI Studio API Keys page.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Click “Create API key” and follow the instructions.
- Copy the generated API key. This will be your
GEMINI_API_KEY.
Obtain an ImgBB API Key
- Go to https://api.imgbb.com/.
- Log in or sign up for a free ImgBB account.
- Once logged in, navigate to the API key section.
- Click “Create key” (or similar) and copy the provided API key. This will be your
IMGBB_API_KEY.
Add API Keys in FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, click the “Install Now” button for the MCP Nano Banana server.
- When prompted, enter the following ENV values:
GEMINI_API_KEY— paste your Google Gemini API key.IMGBB_API_KEY— paste your ImgBB API key.
- Save and finish setup.
