Create a Turso Account and Database
- Visit Turso Quickstart and follow their instructions to register and set up your first database if you haven’t already.
Install the Turso CLI
- Download and install the Turso CLI tool as described in the Turso documentation.
Obtain Your Database URL
- Open a terminal and run:
turso db show --url <database-name> - Replace
<database-name>with the name of your Turso database. - Copy the database URL from the output.
- Open a terminal and run:
Generate Your Authentication Token
- In the terminal, run:
turso db tokens create <database-name> - Again, replace
<database-name>with your database name. - Copy the generated authentication token from the output.
- In the terminal, run:
Fill in the Values in the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Click the “Install Now” button for this integration on your FastMCP setup.
- In the connection interface, fill:
TURSO_DATABASE_URLwith the URL obtained in Step 3.TURSO_AUTH_TOKENwith the token from Step 4.
You’re now ready to connect FastMCP to your Turso database!
