Log in to the Spotify Developer Dashboard
Go to https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard and sign in with your Spotify account.Create a New Application
Click on "Create an App" or "Create a Client ID".
Enter a name and description for your application.Agree to the Terms
Accept Spotify's Developer Terms of Service when prompted.Access Your Application
After the application is created, select it from your Dashboard to view its details.Locate Your Credentials
In the application's details page, you will find your "Client ID" and "Client Secret".Copy Client ID and Client Secret
Click to reveal and copy both values.Add the Credentials to FastMCP
Go to the FastMCP connection interface.
Click the "Install Now" button for ArtistLens.
When prompted, fill in the following ENV values:SPOTIFY_CLIENT_ID(paste your Client ID)SPOTIFY_CLIENT_SECRET(paste your Client Secret)
Save/Apply Changes
Complete the setup as instructed by the FastMCP interface. Your ArtistLens server will now be able to use the Spotify Web API.
