You must provide either a Flatfile API Key or a Flatfile Personal Access Token to connect.To obtain a Flatfile API Key:
- Go to the Flatfile Authentication Documentation.
- Follow the instructions there to generate an API Key for your organization.
To obtain a Flatfile Personal Access Token:
- Go to the Flatfile Personal Access Token Documentation.
- Follow the step-by-step process to create a new Personal Access Token.
Copy the token or API key
After generating your API Key or Personal Access Token, securely copy the value.Open the FastMCP connection interface
Click the "Install Now" button to begin adding a new environment variable via FastMCP.Fill in the ENV values as follows:

FLATFILE_BEARER_TOKEN - Value: Paste your API Key or Personal Access Token from step 4.
