VikingDB
Store and search data using VikingDB vector database.
Sign up and Log in to Volcengine
- Go to Volcengine website.
- If you do not have an account, create one. Otherwise, log in to your existing account.
Access the VikingDB Console
- Follow the official documentation for VikingDB here: VikingDB Docs.
- Navigate to the VikingDB section and locate your VikingDB instance, or create a new one if necessary.
Gather Required Configuration Values
- In the VikingDB console:
- vikingdb_host: Find or note the host address for your VikingDB instance.
- vikingdb_region: Find or note the region where your VikingDB instance is deployed.
- collection_name: Note the name of your desired collection.
- index_name: Note the name of your desired index.
- In the VikingDB console:
Obtain Access Key and Secret Key
- In Volcengine console, go to “AccessKey Management” (AK/SK Page).
- If you do not already have Access Keys (AK/SK):
- Click “Create Access Key” and follow the prompts.
- Copy/save both Access Key (AK) and Secret Key (SK) securely.
Fill in FastMCP Connection Interface
- When using the “Install Now” button, you will be prompted to configure the connection.
- Fill in the following fields using the values gathered:
vikingdb_hostvikingdb_regionvikingdb_ak(Access Key)vikingdb_sk(Secret Key)collection_nameindex_name
- Save your configuration.
You are now ready to use the VikingDB MCP server integration with your configured credentials.
