  1. Log in to Freshdesk

  2. Access Your Profile/API Settings

    • In the Freshdesk dashboard, click on your profile avatar (usually located in the top-right corner).
    • Select "Profile Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Get Your Freshdesk API Key

    • On your profile page, locate the "Your API Key" section.
    • Copy the API key displayed there. This will be used as your FRESHDESK_API_KEY.
  4. Find Your Freshdesk Domain

    • Check your browser’s address bar while logged into Freshdesk. Your domain is typically in the format: yourcompany.freshdesk.com.
    • Note or copy this domain name. This will be used as your FRESHDESK_DOMAIN.
  5. Add Credentials in FastMCP

    • Go to the FastMCP connection interface.
    • Click the "Install Now" button for the Freshdesk MCP server.
    • In the provided ENVs section, fill in:
      • FRESHDESK_API_KEY with the value from Step 3.
      • FRESHDESK_DOMAIN with the value from Step 4.
  6. Save and Proceed

    • Save or apply the configuration to complete your setup.
