Enables file system access to read local files with optional API key authentication, providing a simple interface for analyzing and working with file content without manual uploads.
  1. Obtain Your API Key
If you do not already have an API key, follow the documentation or contact the service provider to generate or request one.

  2. Go to the FastMCP Connection Interface
Open the FastMCP integration page where you are prompted to add ENVs and click the "Install Now" button.

  3. Enter the API Key
In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the field for environment variables.

    • Enter your API key with the variable name: API_KEY
  4. Save and Apply
Save or confirm the configuration to enable file system MCP server access with your API key.

Note: The process assumes you have access to the service's mechanism for generating or receiving an API key. If details or a link are provided by your administrator or documentation, follow those steps specifically for key retrieval.
