Obtain Your Kayzen API Credentials
- Reach out to your Kayzen account administrator or support contact to request the following:
- Kayzen Username: Your Kayzen account email or username.
- Kayzen Password: Your Kayzen account password.
- Kayzen Basic Auth Token: If your account uses Basic Auth, you may need a token (ask Kayzen support if unsure).

Log In to the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Access the FastMCP interface where you will add your environment variables (ENVs).
- Locate the "Install Now" button for Kayzen Analytics MCP Server and open the configuration panel.
Fill in the Environment Variables
- Enter the following details in the FastMCP connection interface:
KAYZEN_USERNAME: Enter your Kayzen username.KAYZEN_PASSWORD: Enter your Kayzen password.KAYZEN_BASIC_AUTH: Paste your Kayzen Basic Auth token (if provided).
- (Optional) If you want to specify a different API URL, set:
KAYZEN_BASE_URL: Enter the desired API endpoint (leave ashttps://api.kayzen.io/v1for default).
- Enter the following details in the FastMCP connection interface:
Save and Complete the Setup
- After filling in all the required fields, confirm and save the configuration in the FastMCP interface.
Test the Connection (Optional)
- Use the provided tools (such as
list_reports) in FastMCP to ensure your credentials work and data is accessible. If any error occurs, verify your credentials with Kayzen support.
