Follow the instructions on the page to request your API key (new users receive a free quota).Copy the issued API key
Once your request is approved, your API key will be displayed. Copy this key—you will need to fill it in the FastMCP connection interface.Add your API key to the FastMCP connection
- In the FastMCP interface, locate your DINO-X MCP server configuration.
- Click the “Install Now” button to open the environment variable setup.
- Enter your API key into the DINOX_API_KEY field.
(Optional) Set the image storage directory
If you use local STDIO mode and want annotated images to be saved, also set IMAGE_STORAGE_DIRECTORY to your preferred local path.Save your configuration
Confirm your entries and save the configuration in FastMCP.
Your DINO-X MCP integration is now ready to use!
