Integrates with Port.io's API to enable AI-assisted task management and workflow orchestration through authentication, prompt triggering, and response handling.
  1. Create a Port Account

    • Go to Port.io.
    • Sign up for a new account or log in if you already have one.
  2. Obtain Your Port Credentials

    • After logging in, navigate to your Port dashboard.
    • Click on Settings in the menu.
    • Go to the Credentials section.
    • Copy both your Client ID and Client Secret. Save them securely.
  3. Determine Your Port Region

    • Check which region your Port workspace uses. It will be either EU or US.
    • If you're unsure, the default is EU.
  4. Add Credentials Using the "Install Now" Button

    • Click the "Install Now" button in your tool (FastMCP connection interface).
    • When prompted, fill in:
      • PORT_CLIENT_ID: The Client ID you obtained in step 2.
      • PORT_CLIENT_SECRET: The Client Secret from step 2.
      • PORT_REGION: "EU" or "US", as determined in step 3.
  5. (Optional) Set Log Level

    • You may set PORT_LOG_LEVEL (e.g., "ERROR" or "DEBUG") if your interface allows. If not, you can leave this out.
  6. Save and Connect

    • Save your changes and finish the connection process.
    • The MCP server will now have the needed access to interact with your Port.io account.

Note: Do not share your Client Secret with unauthorized parties. Store your credentials in a secure environment.
