Open SiYuan Note
Launch the SiYuan Note application on your device.Access API Token
Go toSettings→About→API Tokenwithin SiYuan Note.Generate or Copy Token

Generate Tokenif you do not have a token yet, or - Copy your existing token.
The token will be a string of alphanumeric characters.

Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Click the “Install Now” button to open the FastMCP connection interface.
- Enter the following environment values:
SIYUAN_HOST: The address of your SiYuan server (default is127.0.0.1if running locally).SIYUAN_PORT: The port your SiYuan server uses (default is6806).SIYUAN_TOKEN: Paste the API token you obtained from step 3.
Save and Connect
- Save your changes in FastMCP.
- Test the connection to ensure the details are correct and SiYuan Note is running.
Tip: If the connection fails, re-check the API token, ensure SiYuan Note is running, and confirm there are open notebooks. If issues persist, restart both SiYuan Note and FastMCP.
