Log in to your OpenAI account.
Go to https://platform.openai.com/ and sign in with your OpenAI credentials.Navigate to API Keys.
Once logged in, click your profile icon (top right) and select "API Keys" from the dropdown or directly open https://platform.openai.com/api-keys.Create a new API key (if needed).
If you do not already have an API key with DALL-E 3 access, click the "Create new secret key" button. Give the key an easily identifiable name.Copy your API key.
Immediately after creating the key, copy the newly generated key. You will not be able to view it again later.Fill in the OpenAI API Key in FastMCP.
In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the place to add environment variables (ENVs).
Paste the copied API key as the value for the field namedOPENAI_API_KEY.Complete the setup by saving/applying the configuration.
Proceed as usual with installation or connection steps in FastMCP, ensuring your API key is saved.
Note: You must have DALL-E 3 access on your OpenAI account for this to work. If not, request access in your OpenAI dashboard.
