Create a Gentoro Account
- Visit the Gentoro Playground website.
- Request an account and complete the sign-up process.
- Alternatively, download and install Gentoro locally following the installation guide.
Create a Gentoro API Key
- Go to the instructions for creating an API key: Gentoro Key Documentation.
- Generate your API Key and keep it safe for the next steps.
Define Your Bridge
- Open Gentoro Studio after logging into your account.
- Set up and define your bridge with the tools and data sources needed for your use case.
- Locate and note the Bridge UID after creating your bridge.
Locate the Gentoro Base URL
- The URL will be where your Gentoro services are hosted (e.g., https://beta.gentoro.com if you use their cloud).
Generate or Gather Connection Values
- You will need the following information:
- Gentoro API Key
- Bridge UID
- Gentoro Base URL (where Gentoro is hosted)
- Alternatively, generate a single Gentoro Key value in Gentoro Studio in the format:
<your api key>/<your bridge uid>/<host url>
- You will need the following information:
Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface
- Click the “Install Now” button in FastMCP.
- In the connection form, enter the required values:
- For standard configuration:
GENTORO_API_KEYGENTORO_BRIDGE_UIDGENTORO_BASE_URL
- Or for the short version, use:
GENTORO_KEYwith the format<your api key>/<your bridge uid>/<host url>
