Log in to Alibaba Cloud Console
- Go to the Alibaba Cloud Console.
- Sign in with your Alibaba Cloud account.
Access the RAM (Resource Access Management) Console
- In the top navigation bar, search for and select “RAM”.
Create or Locate an AccessKey Pair
- In the RAM console, select “Users” from the left sidebar.
- Click on the user for whom you want to generate credentials. If necessary, create a new RAM user and grant them at least the
AliyunFCFullAccesspolicy (orAdministratorAccessfor full control). - On the user details page, click the “Create AccessKey” button.
- Alibaba Cloud will display an AccessKey ID and AccessKey Secret. Download and securely save this information as it will not be shown again.
Grant Appropriate Permissions
- Ensure your user has, at minimum, the
AliyunFCFullAccesspolicy. - For best results, also attach
AliyunDevsFullAccess,AliyunVPCFullAccess, andAliyunLogFullAccess.
- Ensure your user has, at minimum, the
Fill the Keys into FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, use the “Install Now” button.
- Enter the following ENV values when prompted:
ALIBABA_CLOUD_ACCESS_KEY_ID: (Your AccessKey ID from above.)ALIBABA_CLOUD_ACCESS_KEY_SECRET: (Your AccessKey Secret from above.)
Save and Complete the Connection
- Confirm and save the configuration.
- Your FastMCP setup will now use these credentials for Alibaba Cloud Function Compute operations.
