Integrates with the AACT clinical trials database, enabling querying and analysis of large-scale trial data for research and healthcare applications.
  1. Create a Free AACT Account
    Go to https://aact.ctti-clinicaltrials.org/users/sign_up and register for a free account on the AACT (Aggregate Analysis of ClinicalTrials.gov) platform.

  2. Confirm Your Email and Log In
    After registering, confirm your email address (check your inbox/spam folder for a confirmation email) and log in to your new AACT account.

  3. Retrieve Your Database Credentials
    Once logged in, navigate to your AACT user dashboard or profile page.

    • Locate your AACT database username (for DB_USER).
    • Locate your AACT database password (for DB_PASSWORD).
      Usually, this information is provided in your account settings, user dashboard, or in a section marked for database access.
  4. Fill in the FastMCP Connection Interface

    1. Open the FastMCP connection interface for adding environment variables (using the "Install Now" button).
    2. When prompted for environment variables, enter:
      • DB_USER: Your AACT database username
      • DB_PASSWORD: Your AACT database password
  5. Save and Connect
    Save your changes in the FastMCP connection interface to enable access to the AACT Clinical Trials database.

You are now ready to use the AACT MCP server to query clinical trial data through FastMCP!
